Chandeliers - Yes, Dear, Size Does Matter!

We all know we want them, that's right, a grand foyer chandelier illuminating our home and making us the envy of friends and family! It seems like it should be the easiest thing in the world to go out and find the perfect chandelier for any room in the house. However, the trouble that most of us run into when buying these exquisite light fixtures is our relative lack of experience. After all, many of us think of grand crystal chandeliers like the ones we see in the movies but the truth is that any light fixture must have the style, color scheme, and size to fit in with the surrounding décor.

No matter the size, a chandelier will become a natural focal point in the space so there is no need to buy a massive one that requires additional ceiling supports in order to hang. By purchasing a massive and over-sized chandelier, the effect may actually cheapen the décor and make it seem gaudy or contrived. Remember, chandeliers convey a subtle grace and elegance.
